REPUTATIONS

Reputations are practically the ‘front cover’ to your character. This is how people will see you; the way you compose yourself, your attitude, your daily wear, your personality. All before diving deep into the truth veiled behind the worn mask that has been put on.

Sample: Narae is known as the ‘Gossip Girl’ back in her small hometown, Jinhae-Gu. She was the girl everyone would eavesdrop on—knowing that some spicy news would come out of her pretty little mouth. Despite portraying herself as the friendly bee next door, everyone knew she was as shady as the news she passed on around. Narae often dresses herself in floral patterned dresses. Her hair would be down to her shoulders with a butterfly pin clasped to her locks.

Reputations are basically the glimpse you are giving to everyone on how your character is seen to be. As they say, do not judge a book by its cover and this would be the cover to your book before anyone is deemed to read the first page to your character’s truth in their life. It is the outer shell of your character.
